Family and Friends
provides support and information for substance misusers, their
family, friends and carers, offering a free confidential client
centered service based on a harm reduction policy.
We also deliver training
on substance misuse issues to Volunteers, Parents and Professionals.
Our
Aims Are:
- Provide a FREE,
confidential, client centered telephone helpline staffed by
trained volunteers.
- Provide information
and support to substance misusers and their family, friends
and carers.
- Recruit, train
and support volunteers to raise awareness on substance misuse
issues.
- Provide training
for parents, professionals and other groups on substance misuse.
- Working towards
inter-agency partnerships with a view to identifying disparity
in service provision.
